Thin film of HgI2
Experimental-normalized and recalculated pole figures after refinement of the orientation distribution with WIMV. The texture is very strong, relevant of several heteroepitaxial relationships. Note the very good agreement between experimental and recalculated pole figures (in a successive order). The maximal OD in this sample is 240 m.r.d., minima is 0, texture index is 40 m.r.d.2
